Swedish massage refers to a variety of techniques including kneading and friction, specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones. This form of massage helps to increase the oxygen flow in the blood, releasing and flushing out toxins such as lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes.

In addition to providing relief from stiffness, numbness, aches and pains; other benefits associated with Swedish massage include reducing stress (both emotional and physical), aiding digestion, improving circulation, increasing muscle tone and stimulating the skin and nervous system and soothing the nerves themselves at the same time.

Full body massage (60 minutes – £35) – Whether you want to feel relaxed, revived or re-energised, this treatment uses a range of massage techniques to create a blissful full body massage.

Back,  neck and shoulder massage (30 minutes – £25) – Focusing on the upper body, this treatment will help to sooth tired, aching muscles leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

Sports massage  is  a treatment which involves manipulating the soft  tissues in the body including muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is used to help PREVENT injuries, PROTECT the body by helping it recover from sporting activities and  maintain its optimal condition, PREPARE the body for sporting activities and help with PERFORMANCE. Sports massage isn’t just for sporty people but anyone who leads an active lifestyle.

(60 minutes – £42 / 45 minutes £35 / 30 minutes – £28)

Indian head massage involves the implementation of specific massage movements which concentrate on the areas of the head, scalp, face, arms and upper back which tend to be areas where tension accumulates.

Indian head massage is carried out with the client fully clothed and seated in an ordinary chair, and can be performed with or without oils. The therapist will use a range of different movements including application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp areas. In addition, the therapist will also gently stimulate and stroke pressure points on the face.

The techniques involved will include restorative and stress relieving procedures to aid and assist the overall wellbeing of the client. The treatment is also particularly effective for those people who find it difficult to relax or sleep.
